Embroidered mourning picture worked in silk and paint on a silk ground 7 3/4 in. x 5 1/2 inches.
Inscribed JD and In Memory of/ James Dimon/ who died on/ the Coast/ of Africa and Jan. 24th/ 1807 in the/ 21st year of/ his age.
