RECLINING LADY
England circa 1750
A very good eighteenth century canvas work picture depicting a reclining lady in a bucolic wooded area with her
dog, a young boy, rabbits in the foreground and birds in flight. In the background stands a cottage and a church.
The needlework is in excellent condition with vivid colors and no losses. It was remounted in the nineteenth century
and is now installed in a fine reproduction frame.
Silk and wool on linen; 25 x 21 inches with frame.
