Coat of Arms Misses Patten's School Hartford, CT c.1810 This beautiful Smith family coat of arms was probably worked by young lady named Ruth Smith in her mid-teens. A latter mat board that probably replaced the original glass was inscribed Ruth Smith at the bottom. The name is too common to competently verify with genealogical research.
