Inscribed: Hannah Johnsons work/ in her 11th Year 1835. This needlework sampler includes a center hall house with
a sheep on the front lawn below an unusual depiction of two stags on the edge of a body of water in a bucolic setting
all surrounded with a flowering vine border. The sampler has some general overall fading, but retains its beautiful
original corner block mahogany veneered frame
Silk on linen: 16 ¾” x 17 ¾” sight.
