Terecy Yeamons, Hartford, Connecticut, 1811 "ANNA" Terecy worked this silk embroidery while attending the Lydia Royse School in Hartford,
CT in 1811. She chose the poem Anna as a subject for her embroidery and no doubt copied the image from a print.
Note the painting of the water which is a distinctive characteristic of paintings done by the school mistress Lydia
