Hector and Andromache A large and beautiful silk embroidery depicting the moment on the battlements of Troy, when the Trojans' great hero Hector has left the fighting momentarily; his wife Andromache, accompanied by a nurse and their infant son, Astyanax comes to speak with him and unsuccessfully attempts to persuade him not to return to battle.
