While a student at the Mary Balch school in Providence, RI, Cynthia stitched this elegant silk embroidered picture
with a shaded blue urn and baskets on a hillock ground, and at the top a floral garland with bowtie ribbons. Similar
motifs and layout are found on several other needlework pictures from the school.

Silk and chenille on silk; 25 ½" x 26 1/8" sight, 29 ½" x 30 ¼" framed.
