Mary Ann Post, at age 14 in 1827, worked this striking Family Register sampler at Miss Cornwall’s school in Glastonbury, Connecticut. She recorded the marriage of her parents and the births of their children. Her parents and brother’s death dates were added later.

Mary Ann (1813-1883) was born in Hebron, Connecticut, daughter of farmer Diodate Post (1786-1860) and Pamela Birge (1792-1860). She married John Buell (born 1812) of the same town and lived on the old homestead. They had four children.
