Anna Kreider Needlework sampler Lampeter, Lancaster County, PA sampler, dated 1832 Anna, at age 14, worked this sampler with a variety of mirror image flowering motifs, birds, alphabet, and scattered initials representing her parents and siblings. In the center cartouche she inscribed: "Anna Kreider is my name, heaven is my station, Lampeter is my dwelling place and Christ is my salvation"…verse continues to remind us that she is leaving this sampler behind so we will remember her," Lest I am quite forgotten".
