CATALOGUE NOTE
Attributed to Sarah Tobias (b. 1791), the only daughter of Daniel Tobias (c . 1766-1797) nd Ruth Newcomb of Kalina
Kill, Columbia County. A similar blend of colors with white and grey paint was used at Sarah Pierce's Academy in
Litchfield, Connecticut.
