Family registers were popular watercolor schoolgirl projects in the first half of the 19th century. In this case the basic outline was a well known Peter Maverick print purchased as a printed design, and embellished by the artist. The family births and deaths are recorded and the background beautifully painted with town and landscape.

Watercolor on paper; 21 ¼" x 17" sight size.

Price; $9,800.
