"Lake Scene" probably made in France c.1820. This exquisitely executed large silk embroidery is in perfect condition. It depicts boater on a lake surrounded with a bucolic landscape and beautifully situated estates. A stag hunting scene on is on the right and a seated man fishing is on the left.
