Diantha H. Maine Stonington, CT c.1833 Diantha worked this rather simple but charming sampler as a child in school. She was born June 8, 1823 and was living in Stonington with her parents Jebish Breed and Freelove Edwards in 1850. At some point after 1850 she married Joseph Rood.
